How to Stream on a Tablet

Tablets are great for personal streaming. Here is how to set up web player streaming on iPad and Android tablets.

How to Stream on a Tablet

iPad streaming setup

Open Safari. Navigate to the web player URL. Enter credentials. The web player adapts to touch navigation. Tap AirPlay to watch on Apple TV.

Android tablet setup

Open Chrome. Navigate to the web player URL. Enter credentials. Touch navigation works well. Cast to Chromecast or TV with built-in Chromecast.

Tablet vs phone for streaming

Tablets are better than phones for streaming because of the larger screen. A 10-inch tablet is a good size for personal viewing. Tablets also have better battery life during streaming than phones.

Tablet vs laptop for streaming

Tablets are more portable and have touch navigation. Laptops have better performance and can connect to TV via HDMI. For travel, tablet. For home, laptop.
