AirPlay Web Player Setup Guide
What is AirPlay?
AirPlay is Apple's casting technology. It lets you send video from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to an Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV. No extra device needed if your TV supports AirPlay.
AirPlay from iPhone/iPad
Open Safari. Navigate to the web player URL. Start playing content. Tap the AirPlay icon in the video player. Select your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV.
AirPlay from Mac
Open Safari or Chrome. Navigate to the web player. Start playing. Click the AirPlay icon in the video player or in the Mac menu bar. Select your Apple TV.
AirPlay-compatible TVs
Many modern Smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio support AirPlay 2. Check your TV settings for AirPlay. If your TV supports it, you do not need an Apple TV.
AirPlay vs Chromecast
AirPlay works only with Apple devices. Chromecast works with Android and Chrome. If you use Apple devices, AirPlay is simpler. If you use Android, Chromecast is simpler. Both work well for web player streaming.
