Web Player Keyboard Shortcuts

Use these keyboard shortcuts to control web player streaming without a mouse.

Web Player Keyboard Shortcuts

Playback controls

Space bar — play/pause. Left/Right arrows — rewind/fast forward 10 seconds. Up/Down arrows — volume up/down. F — fullscreen. M — mute. These work in most web players.

Tab navigation

Tab — move to next button/link. Shift+Tab — move to previous. Enter — select/activate. This lets you navigate the web player without a mouse.

Browser shortcuts for streaming

F11 — fullscreen the browser (hides address bar). Ctrl+T — new tab. Ctrl+W — close tab. Ctrl+Shift+T — reopen closed tab (if you accidentally close the web player).

Customizing shortcuts

Some web players let you customize keyboard shortcuts in settings. Check the web player settings page for shortcut options.
