Supported Devices for Browser Streaming

The web player works on any device with a modern browser. Here is how each device type performs.

Supported Devices for Browser Streaming

Desktop computers (PC, Mac)

Best performance. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all work well. Full keyboard navigation. Can connect to TV via HDMI. Most reliable option.

Laptops (PC, Mac, Chromebook)

Excellent performance. Same browser options as desktop. Portable. Can connect to TV via HDMI or casting. Chromebooks work especially well with Chrome browser.

Tablets (iPad, Android)

Very good performance. Touch navigation works well. Can cast to TV. Portable. iPad with Safari works great. Android tablets with Chrome work great.

Smartphones (iPhone, Android)

Good performance for personal viewing. Screen is small for long sessions. Can cast to TV. Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone both work well.

Smart TV browsers

Varies by brand. Samsung and LG browsers work but can be slow. Android TV browser works well. Roku browser is very limited. For Smart TVs, an external device is usually better than the built-in browser.

Gaming consoles (PS5, Xbox)

Console browsers work but are not optimized for streaming. Possible but not recommended. Use an app or external device instead.
