How to Fix Web Player Buffering
Fix 1: Check internet speed
Run a speed test in your browser. You need 10+ Mbps for HD and 25+ Mbps for 4K. If below, you need faster internet or a better connection.
Fix 2: Close other tabs and apps
Each browser tab uses memory and bandwidth. Close everything except the web player. Close background apps on your device.
Fix 3: Try a wired connection
WiFi can be unstable. If on a computer, use Ethernet. If on a laptop without Ethernet, use a USB-to-Ethernet adapter.
Fix 4: Clear browser cache
Clear your browser cache and cookies for the web player site. This removes old data that can cause buffering. Chrome: Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data.
Fix 5: Try a different browser
If Chrome buffers, try Firefox or Edge. If Safari buffers, try Chrome. Different browsers handle video decoding differently.
Fix 6: Disable extensions
Extensions can interfere with video playback. Disable all extensions and test. If it works, re-enable extensions one by one to find the culprit.
Fix 7: Lower streaming quality
Some web players let you lower quality. If available, switch from HD to SD to reduce buffering on slow connections.
Fix 8: Use Incognito mode
Open the web player in Incognito/Private mode. This disables extensions and uses a fresh session. If it works, an extension or cache issue is the cause.
